These images are from a scenario paintball big game I attended just outside of Moscow Russia in May 15, 2010. It was the biggest one day paintball game in history at 3488 registered players.

As you can see they do things differently in Russia

AS ALWAYS, just amazing!!!

What is the deal with the tank though? They really use it? What is the method of "stopping" it?

The tank really shoots from a full auto mounted paintball machine gun but I am really not too sure what type of projectile they shot out of the main barrel. I really did not want to spend too much time standing in front of this thing

The tank is stopped when it is hit by a flash bang smoke grenade as below

The mortars shoot a water bottle filled with fire crackers.

Hi Mike, not sure what you mean by HEAT boxes?

Paintball is very different in Russia it’s amazing what you can do when you do not need to worry about liability and lawyers as we do in the US.

Hey who are you calling a noob, is it because of the blue plumbers tape I still insist on using? At least I answer my phone, perhaps I should have used another phone number so you wouldn’t have know it was me and you would have answered it

Hera are a few more just for you...of course you could always go to www.paintballphotography.com (external link) and see them all

Hi Mike, not sure what you mean by HEAT boxes?

Just a little play on words - There's a munition called High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT).

Weird. There is also a case of Heat paintballs right in front of the tank in the tank photo.
