Oh, and I've been looking at http://www.littlebigshots.com.au/ (external link) where the kid on the left with the film reels (the festival advertising image) is a shot I did mid last year.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Anyone know of anywhere in Sydney where a person could go and touch and feel this stuff?

http://www.photo-shop-studio.com/eng/default.asp (external link) has a storefront in Sydney.

@juice,cool, at least it seems you didn't scare the hell out of the kid:lol:
Were the film reels glued together or was the kid having fun trying to hold them, can be slippery things when they want to?

The reels were loose - we moved them around a bit in relation to the colours and sizes to see what looked best. Probably didn't actually make any difference for the final image :-)

BTW, describing the "Topaz Suite" as a 'suite' is vastly overselling the integration - you have to install all seven plugins separately, then install the 64-bit update to each of them, then input the serial for each, separately, when they're open in PS.

It's a bundle, not a suite.

Speaking of Adobe, does anyone know why my CMYK colours would differ in Illustrator and InDesign? Basically same %'s for the colours but they look very different. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I've set the same colour profiles etc in preferences and colour options, but they still seem to be off.

Hi all.

Just letting all know that the Dell U2410 (IPS) panel is back on 'special' to $699. So with a Racq or similar membership you can get 15% off bringing it down to under $600 delivered. Wicked monitor. I will be buying one come tax return time.

That is all.

Sounds like fun! Should get a nice variety of shots in those four places. You're moving back to Adelaide, right?

Cheers guys.

Cameron, lighting on the second one is much nicer however they seem a little bit soft. I also thing the positioning of the second one works better.
