Just got home from work and found the box on the doorstep. Arrived just in time to try out this weekend. Yes!!! Ran out and took a couple of pic's and it's looking pretty darn good. Now just gotta find a bag the sucker will fit into.

I just keep the Sigma in its own "bag" to keep it safe from damage. Good luck on finding a camera bag that will accomodate a 150-500 lens plus other gear. it is an incredible lens.

I use the LowPro DryZone 200 backpack. The camera with the 150-500 on it fits in nicely, and still has room for 6 other lenses, the external flash, and a hand full of battereies, filters, and memory cards.

Any Pics to show :) does it have any image stabilization? Im interested in a good zoom lens that reaches 400 of 500.

The Sigma 120-400, 150-500, and the new 50-500 all have stabilization.

The lens archive is here, all 3 have their own dedicated gallery, I believe.

The 150-500mm DG OS has image stabilization (that's the "OS" designation). The new 50-500mm and the 120-400mm also have image stabilization

It's heavy, expensive, and hungry for light... Other than that, it is a great lens!

Depends on what you want. Do you want more range or a lighter lens ?

Neither weight or range is to much of a worry. i was just wandering what quality differences there are between the two lenses images.
