Hmm - looks like the Coffee Club forum (version 4) might be on its' last legs - three weeks between posts is pretty sparse.....

*knock knock*

Anyone still here? Maybe? Sad news about Helen's father, thoughts are definitely with her and the rest of the family :(

Kind of feel bad coming in to share photos now, but we do need to try and breathe some life back into the coffee club. As John would know very well, myself and Laura went on a cruise up the coast last week and got back this morning. Just processing photos and had this one pop out at me straight away and even more so after some fine tuning in Bibble.

It is a fairly heavy crop as the longest lens I had with me only went to 70mm and the tender was moving away from the ship fairly quickly. Couldn't have asked for a better day at the Whitsundays though.

Love the Whitsunday blue, beautiful place.

Ummmm, she had only been out of drydock for 4 or 5 days when you took that, look at that rust streak from the anchor :(

Thanks John!

It didn't really seem that they repainted the whole ship in that two weeks though, sure, the underneath had been redone but everywhere else was still pretty dirty and old. The windows were nice and mucky too :(

Besides, with no proper ports on the cruise, they didn't get a chance to do any external work at all.

Hey Sammy,

Might be my eyes / rubbish monitor, but I think your white balance is a little cool for the bright daylight. Sky looks a little sick. Was that straight OOC?

Well, they redid the carpet in the dining room and most of the ship, replaced some of the chairs in there too and then sort of did half jobs elsewhere. Everything else was still being finished while we were there, including installing gates to the oasis right above our cabin at 6am on the second last day. Nothing like being woken up by hammering and power tools directly above you on the one morning you were going to sleep in...

Hmm... it looks ok on the screens here. Not quite straight out of the camera, but the light there really wasn't very warm. I never had much faith in this screen, but the only problems I was having with it were with highlights.

Messing with the WB in bibble just makes it look a little off

Have any of you guys heard of David Throne? He runs a blog and posts a lot of emails, does tend to get a few people off side, but some of the stuff on there is such a laugh.

A recent one --- Missing Missy.
