Nice Shot Mark!!

Heres mine from Yesterday, just one 430 EXII at full power with a half cut of CTO on it, held by a Voice Activated Lightstand.

ƒ16 | 1/200 s | ISO 50

Not really liking her facial expression though.

@pellepiano great shot! Lovely model you got there. Was this with a reflective umbrella?

This was kind of an outtake during the shoot. Alice was trying to take off her ring and had this priceless facial expression. The light was setup perfectly and I managed to capture this great moment. This picture showed how easy to work with Alice was. :)

580EXII + 430EXII shoot through umbrella camera right triggered by Cybersync.

Beautifully lit and gorgeous model! I've admired your work for quite some time now, your website is fantastic.

Would you be willing to share any information on what you did in post for this shot? Your skin processing is excellent.

@tumblew33d Thanks, I use a lot of Dodge and Burn, two curves layers set to bright and one to dark and paint in the layermasks. I do this, partly for contouring, "cleaning" ( the uneveness that gets visible when you look at skin with a black and white contrasty curves layer ), at at times at pore level, depending on how much time I would like to spend. Im still experimenting, dont got the hang of it yet. Have a few posts in my blog with examples of the dodge and burn layers here ....

Nienna has some good tuts on dodge and burn too, she is exellent.

Thanks for sharing the info and links, it's appreciated! I'm on a steep learning curve in photoshop at the moment and trying to absorb as much helpful information as possible. I'll be sure to bookmark your blog and check out the tutorials.
