This is transportation but I'm not sure the correct area to post it.

I'm a professional custom painter and created this image last year for approval before the project began. He originally wanted a horrible color combination so I whipped this up. He couldn't make up his mind on the color but finally decided on the kandy red and charcoal theme. Simple but affective.

This photo was taken before I got a DSLR. I thought it was worth posting versus forever being hidden on a cd and forgotten.

I like the edit very much but I wish you would have completed the cleanup. The ground around the truck (weeds, bare patches etc). The reflections in the chrome too. I like the edit though..

Thanks for the comments.

I'll clean up some when I have more time and update a photo here. He ended up getting a new front bumper and new wheels too. I didn't get a shot after it was complete because it was dark overcast and snowing when we moved it out. He's from a neighboring city, if I find him at home I'll grab a shot.

I know, bringing an old thread some new life. I was just browsing some of my old posts and realized I never posted a photo of the actual painted truck.

Plus a bonus... I documented the painting of the trailer as I designed and painted it.
Team Highland had the entire team inducted into a Hall of Fame and also had a team tribute (external link). The new trailers interior also matched the original with the addition of memorabilia.

I took photos of the original trailer from the late 70's and turned the graphics to vector so I could scale and get measurements to accurately paint the new trailer. Paint is all IMRON polyurethane. Not meant to be super great photos as I was in a rush, just a documentary of the 'rebirth' for the owner and thought it was worth posting here. Enjoy...
