Also some of the same skills required to properly fire a weapon are the same skills that can be used to steady yourself when taking photographs.

Yes they are,breathing control, 3 points support when possible, aim correctly...

That's why I kind of refrenced sniper in my username shoothing guns and phots is a lot alike. You do get into a lot of the same positions it's basically a scope that takes pictures haha. You know I've been in FL for 7 years now my wife has been here for 28 years and neither one of us has been to the keys haha I know I know, u really wanna get down there I'm sure the scenery is breath taking.

The reason I like glock is the only safety on the gun is you not pulling the trigger. I hate getting hung up on a safety switch that split second it takes to remove the safety could mean life or death.

You've inspired me to pull out my camera, glock and a bottle of bourbon to do something similar. Gun photography is fun, always trying to get the lighting perfect so you get every little detail.

I'll go with the 7D. While the polished .38 is really cool and has a mean bark, the 7D has interchangable lenses (some 85 and counting I believe) that have an infinity setting.

Winner: Canon 7D, by infinity!

As before I like the subject matter and I like the idea here. Having said that, the composition and lighting bother me a little. I think it's because the items are arranged as if they are being photographed for an advertisement but they don't go together. They are all too neatly arranged. I think this would look great if it was arranged from the users perspective. Turn the Glock and Canon around (let's be honest those things don't get pointed at us). Find a decent ashtray and light one of the cigars. Set them up on a table as if you are relaxing at the end of the day. Then, if possible, shoot this as a low key shot. I do like your concept and I may do something similar if I can find some time.

BTW, what model Glock and what is in the glass?
