EF 75-300IS - bought at the same time as my 300D and kit lens. While not (I'm told) in the same league as the newer 70-300IS, I took some photos I'm very fond of with the old telephoto zoom, and my father has used it to good purpose since I replaced it with the 100-400L (which is probably my most-used lens these days).

Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8. It was the lens I missed the most when I made the jump to full-frame.

...Then I stared playing with primes and never looked back :p

5D2 + primes (both EF and adapted manual-focus). Being a bohemian film/photo major is turning out to be pretty expensive, after all >_<

17-55

My intro into photography was borrowing my sister's 300D with the nifty fifty. She upgraded to a 30D and this 300D was her backup camera. I bought a 40D kit w/28-135 and ordered the 17-55. The 17-55 arrived a few weeks before the 40D. The 28-135 went on the 300D and my other sister is now "borrowing" it. That was almost 3 years ago.

The first SLR I purchased came with a 28-70 and a 70-200. I shot with just those for 15 or so years.

ef-s 55-250mm IS then ef 50mm 1.8 II then ef 85mm 1.8 USM then ef-s 15-85mm IS USM.
I bought the ef 70-300mm IS USM but exchanged it for the ef 100mm macro USM because it was softer than my 55-250mm. I liked the 100mm macro but I returned it an used the money to help replace my Aunt's SX120IS that was stolen right after she bought it.

Canon EF 70-200mm F/4L IS USM
and it's still my absolute favorite lens.

Kind regards
