iPhone photo

I continue to be impressed with the quality of iPhone photos. The subject is a plaster "death-mask" of Leland Stanford, Jr. - name-sake of Stanford University. The cast was behind glass, lit from above with a single spot-light. There was something appealing about the contrast and creepiness of the subject.

Not really that impressed by iPhone cameras as they are years behind other mobile phones.

True, that. I was speaking more in general cell-phone terms, rather than specifically iPhones. Should have been more clear. Still, it takes better pictures than my Razor ever did.

I agree that mobile phone cameras have come a long way.

Still, one of the more advertised features of the new iPhone 4 that has yet to be released is its 5 MP camera with LED flash. My 3 year old Nokia has a 5 MP camera with xenon flash.

It also sports a backlit CMOS censor, something I bet your 3 year old Nokia doesn't.
