Are there any wildlife preserves? or places to go birding?
Chris

Chris, welcome to Oklahoma. The Great Salt Plains is a great birding location, especially in migrating season. Lots of places to shoot Buffalo and Longhorn, such as the Tallgrass Prairie preserve by Pawhuska.

Check out the Tulsa Digital Photography Group on Meetup.com. We have several shoots planned.

Speaking of wildlife, I just went to Sequoyah NWR south of Vian. A beautiful place that is supposed to have lots of migratory birds in the winter. I don't know how many bird there will be, but it's prettier than Holla Bend Ar, which has thousands of birds but it almost two hours farther.
