First post here, I hope this works.
I've been playing around with the sliders in my RAW editor and I'm kind of liking this one, though it's probably not to everyone's taste. It's entirely possible that I may just be weird.

50D, 28-135 @ 28mm, f8, 1/250. ISO was at 400 and I had -2 on the exposure comp, probably because I forgot to change them. So much to keep track of. :o I'm learning though. CC appreciated.

I want to say "congrats" on your successful turkey hunt!!!! Assuming you bagged this bird.

You should post it here https://photography-on-the.net …=759450&highlight=hunting

Thanks Sharod! Yes, I did get him, after a long, long season. We ate good that evening.
Thanks for the link to the other thread, I didn't know it was there.

Nice Turkey. They are wylie and elusive so tough to bag with a Canon or a Remington.

I wish there was warning when it's a shot of dead animal. I'm not a fan of hunting and find pictures of dead animals disturbing.

Thanks for the comments guys. JB, you're just down the road and across the river from me. I hope you get to get after one soon.
cdahl, like I said, I'd have put this in the other thread if I'd have known it was there. Didn't mean to offend anyone's sensibilities.

I'm not a dude. And I don't need to get a grip.

It would just be nice if the titled reflected that it was a hunting picture. I'm not objecting to the picture nor the OP; I just wouldn't have looked at the thread had I known the subject was dead instead of alive.
