I'd back off the smoothing by about 90%. I can see why you'd want to add a little, but both processed photos are just crazy over processed at any age, but especially overdone for a child.

Your original is fine, but practicing is a good thing.

honestly, since I don't use real models, I try to limit my pp as much as possible...with little kids, probably none ! LOL
