Here are my two. One was a piece of my "self portrait" for a photography class, where we had to show aspects of ourselves through objects or concepts. My shoes was one of them. This of course is only a fraction of my shoes.
The other is a shot of my wet sneaker from when I was taking photos down at the pier locally where there was a huge storm and threats of a hurricane hitting my city. A wave got me as I was shooting. Luckily that happened just as I was done anyhow.

i would say as long as you are having fun with it, using a little creativity, why not? i may dig up some of my old SD600 P&S shots...
