Processing question

Hi there I am trying to get this sort of look http://www.etsy.com …&ga_page=&order​=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=tit​le on some of my images, the kind of muted look. Any ideas on how to achieve this in Photoshop please?

Do you mean the color treatment? Or the shallow depth of field?

There are probably several ways of achieving this look (there usually are in Photoshop). I'd try combining desaturation with boosted contrast. Maybe try a black and white conversion layer with less than 100% opacity for the desaturation piece, since that will let you selectively darken or lighten the various color tones and control the impact on the original image colors by the % of opacity you use.

I'm not all that sure much was done to the color here, but there are a ton of ways to approach it. If you like premade solutions, browse the free action section of deviant art, there are a ton of options. Or you can play with the color options in the hue/saturation menu, or color curves.
