On Tuesday I met with this couple to talk about their wedding and shoot a quick engagement session. Fun couple who were down for anything!

I know I'm being picky but the barrel distortion you get from wide angle lens makes the pic artistic. For me, I try not to use it on people.... but if I have to, I try not to frame them at the far side where distortion is very obvious. It'll make them short and stocky. Pic 6 is a cool idea.. but I think you can minimize the distortion affecting the couple if you frame them closer to the center.

Thanks everyone for the good words.

Phil I knownwhat you mean on the barrel distortion. Normally I have them lean a bit to help fight the distortion. I did this on later frames (and did some with them centered) but I liked the composition on this better. This is something that I am always battling when I work with my ultra wide...

Great use of "hard" lighting on #1. I like all of them.

Love the lighting on #1 and the surroundings and the framing on #6. Streaks across the sky are nice too =)
