what is it called when you have a picture that shows what your eyes see and you can see hands, and what they grab and reach? just like a first person shooter game and you (the image) feels like it sees through the eyes of the person that took the image?

ex: prodigy music video (external link)
exactly like this also how do you take images like so? im guessing a wide angel lens anywhere between 10 and 18mms would do it right?

last but not least is there a thread dedicated to this type of photography/pictures?

It's called "gonzo" photography (or videography in the case of your example)

i cant find much on gonzo photography :( googled it and searched on potn and only 2 sites came up and werent exactly what i was talking about.

I would imagine it's more effective with video then it would be with still
