My second attempt at my P90X type photos. Canon 430 EX II fired at 1/4 power into white umbrella above camera left.

Between this thread and my first baby on the way I got inspired to get some flash equipment and here is my first attempt. Would appreciate some CC. Since this was my first try I wasn't really paying attention to the background (more concerned with getting down technique), I wish I would have found a more pleasing background.

My equipment was a 45" umbrella to the left, don't remember settings. Had camera and flash in manual and just dinked with settings until I got something I liked.

I did learn I need a more heavy duty stand, almost lost my equipment to a soft breeze!

Awesome, I went to pick up some CTR-301p's from a guy on craigslist, he threw in a heavy duty manfrotto light stand for free! I don't know what type it is, but it's heavy as fudge.

The tattered baby doll doesn't really scream Alice to me but cool shot non-the-less.

The title was just something that crossed my mind at the given moment and it doesn't convey the pic all that much.
