iam going nuts...with cards

iam thinking about getting the 7D...but i have a 8gb card. how many pics can i shoot at full 18 mp at lg RAW with a 8 gb card?

with a 4 gig card canon projects 155 raw
so 8 gigs = 310

I have been averaging about 42 RAWS to the Gig so far with my camera. So you should get about 320 to 350 depending upon your pictures.

with the cost of 16gb coming down so much in the past few months, may as well upgrade. $100 for a 60mbs extreme.

I get around 300 or so with RAW + mJPEG. If I were you, and on a budget, just get 3 or 4 4GB cards. They're cheap these days. Costco has 8 GB Ultra II's on sale this month $26 each. I have 8 of them all together.
