Thank you so much Tendy. I mostly stick with DPP as it has a simpler RAW interface (same settings as camera) but it is very good to be reminded of the fact the PS gives a little bit more control. I do play with the levels in DPP often, almost never sharpen. I will take this and macobee's advice into consideration.

Now I want sushi, and its to late to order...thank you nell !

Inspired by the images here. Wife had these out on the dinner table tonight so I whipped out my camera with a 90mm TSE.

My wife took me to dinner at the Inn at Little Washington for my birthday and our 1st anniversary a few weeks ago, here's some of the culinary fare from the evening

I shared these in the Sigma 30 f/1.4 thread as well, but it did a great job capturing some of the meals, especially considering the dim lighting. I'm loving the new prime so far!

Dinner was absolutely incredible btw :p

Wife's 1st Course- Chilled Maine Lobster in Sherry Vinaigrette

Nice pictures. I'm pretty amazed at teh 30mm lens. I'm currently shopping around for a fast prime. the 30 is definitely noteworthy since I saw your pics. I was iffy about getting it since I was thinking about the small chance I will upgrade to a full frame camera. Imma do some more research.

I kinda want to see if anyone taken pictures of food with a 20mm 1.8 from Sigma.
