There is nothing about this shot that I don't love.
(From a technical standpoint, anyway. )

@ don

with everybody else.. really great concept and quirky sinister feel to it!..

Whitney ~ Bridal part 3

one of my signature shots.

i always want to do a sitting down pose for the bride.. with the center isle as the perspective.

here we have whitney just doing that..
it is some thing that is easy, and unique, shots at the altar are so over done and i like this approach..

My friend Ryan O Hicks. was booming the lights for me..

lighting was a single 580EX with radio poppers in ettl mode with a westcott softbox camera right.

Pitch dark in an abandoned Navy Base. We didn't have wireless triggers so we just opened the shutter, manually popped the flash, and closed it.

First attempt with my new 580EX II, I must say it was not just 1 light. I used 580 as main, bare, with a 430 off camera right at 90 degrees. Ratio was 1 to 2 /, 580/430 slave. Never shot off camera with speedlites, but this board has got me inspired. Think I will be doing a lot more...fun to play and learn!

^^^^ looks to me a single light source used 6 times and 6 photos merged and masked so that only the lighted subject is displayed..
