He was using a small P&S, so I was impressed that he also had the tripod.

"CAN YOU JUST PUT DOWN THE DAMN CAMERA AND ACCOMPANY ME?!"

heh hehhh...

I won't name where I was simply because the other shooter may be on these forums, too, but I was shooting a sunrise landscape and a guy shows up about three minutes before the sunrise. I leave about thirty minutes later and drive to a second location, and about an hour after that, he shows up there, too... it was then that I realized that there was a girl with him in the car, and she was simply stunning (probably the prettiest girl I saw that entire trip). I felt bad for her, having to put up with a photographer boyfriend (presumably) who just took pictures for three hours straight...

Here's one my wife took of me last night, precariously balanced on the ladder to get a better view of some sunset clouds.

WWOS? (what would osha say?)

methinks with the money you've spent on gear, and the (high) likely hood of it all losing an not-so epic battle against gravity, you might consider investing in a better quality ladder.

edit: omg, are those crocs? dispose of those while your at it (personal vendetta).

That looks pretty precarious, all right! Was the first aid kit and a ride to the ER all at hand:)?

Germany currently looks like a madhouse. It is perhaps best to close the borders and make one big asylum out of it....
