Wow, where do I start with this wedding?! When Tony first called me he said that they were getting married at Alison’s mum and dads farm with a marquee. Sounds great, I thought. Then a couple of months ago we went to Preese Hall farm to meet up with Alison and Tony and to have a look round. Wow, it is a truly beautiful home and perfect in every way for a wedding. Alison told me that one day they may even open a wedding venue here as Preese Hall farm has lots of barns that would make an ideal wedding venue.

Tony met Alison through Alison’s aunt, who was Tony’s boss. He was wanting to leave his job to go travelling and Alison’s Aunt asked what would make his stay. Long story short Alison’s aunt set him up on a date with Alison and that brings us to the wedding

We first met up with Tony, John (Alison’s dad) and some of the gents for ‘The Shoot”! Boys and Guns always a good photos

They let us have a go at shooting for the first time and I kind of put my arm out a tiny bit for the day which made it a tiny bit harder to shoot but nothing serious!

Loads more on the blog! (like 120 shots!) http://www.tobiahtayo.com …eese-hall-farm-lancashire (external link)

Great stuff, is #8 just a single flash backlighting them?

Canon Xsi w/kit lens, 50mm/1.8, Manfroto tripod, and now realizing a steep learning curve. Editing OK

1. Two broncolor mobil packs -1 from either side. At full power (1200watts) exposed for the background then just whacked them at full power and changed my aperture with iso 100 and max sync speed.

2. All natural light. 24L for left shot and 135 for right shot.

3. Window light with the 50L at around f2

4. One 580ex2 at cam left on ettl.24L

5. 45mm tilt shift. Use live view at 10x to make sure you focus right.

6. The 135L at f2 or 2.2 - the couple in shade with sun behind coming through trees. Perfect shot for every wedding.

7. Natural light using the sun to make the sky darker by using sun on couple like you might a flash.

8. Flash on camera bounced and flash behind on manual.
