Took these the other day down at the local skatepark:

Don't be afraid to do some cropping on these.

1st shot lighting seems out of place, was this with on camera flash?
2nd shot looks good but could use a tighter crop.
3rd shot really needs to be cropped tighter, the feet on the right are distracting.

Good start though, keep it up.

Yeah the 1st was on camera flash unfortunately. And as for cropping I wasn't sure for the bmx one just because i really like the way the sky is.

Roughhh.. Try to incorporate more into the shot, outside simply have a point & shoot feel to them. Like the first photo, you get that he is doing a crook, but you lose any aspect of the obstacle or surroundings, where you could have him framed not as tightly and still have it as your focal point. Work the angles.
3rd is your best though, IMO. Since your trying to incorporate more sky, try moving a little lower and maybe 30­­° to your left? Not sure of what all is to the right of your photo, but try to experiment some.
