A little project I have read about in a few places was to take an ordinary object and look at it from different angles to see "new life" in it so to speak.
So I took a rose the is currently sitting in a vase on our coffee table as my subject and went at it for half an hour or so and I am pretty happy with the results.

The light looks a bit harsh in the first one but the last one is a stunner, nice job.

Thanks Mike. The first was lit with a handheld LED flash light, hardly technical but got a bit more blown out in conversion to B&W.
