I just got a remote off ebay, brand new. Nice price, but comes in 7-10 days. Ugh, guess I gotta wait now.

I bought this one from the POTN shop some time ago. It does everything I want it to do.

I have the same one. It shipped quickly, and works perfectly....and also helps to support POTN by buying through their shop! I didn't want to wait two (or more) weeks for one from the far east somewhere, and didn't want to pay the price for a Canon-branded one.

Because they make products 100 times better than what gets made in America

Not true....They are cheaper, no better, no worse. Right now Hong Kong is what Japan was in the 60's and 70's. They're looking to show what they can do. Just give them a few years and their stuff will be overpriced...just like everyone else.

I've had serveal of the eBay/Hong Kong triggers. I've used them with 20D's, my 30D and my Mark IIN. The best one I've found is the Plato Wireless Remote. I bought it last year. They might have a newer model out now.
