It comes with sync leads, but how long are they likely to be? Presumably, all being well, I can have them plugged into the power, and my camera run 2 sync leads to the stands and be away straight from the box, if they were long enough?

I use a seculine radio trigger for my hotshoe flash and that has served me well - will it also fire both the lights in this kit, or would I need to buy another receiver unit? I presume it'll fire one of the lights no problem.

Light/Flash meter would be a good idea save's alot of time.

thanks TTk - yes I have a meter from a long time happily using canon hotshoe strobes, I just want to move into more studio based lighting and don't want to forget something obvious.

The kit your looking at is a good kit to start with I know a few photographers that use this lighting with very good results, good luck..
