The day lily was taken with my wife's Fuji P&S, while the water lily was out in the lake and required 500mm with my 50D.

Nice ones Stan. I was just out shooting some flowers in the yard. The humidity finally went down to a bearable level. :)

Thanks, Kurt. I agree, it does pretty well for what it is. And, it has a 30X zoom (which is why she dropped and broke her old Olympus).

Thanks, Steve & Steve. I was surprised to see such different water plants in Ohio. You just never know until you go there, which is why I love travel.
