Nope, it's a weird problem. (The manual is EurEnglish, which wouldn't help much anyway.)

@Mic - got the caps many thanks, they make the heads extra mini and a breeze to throw into the bag... not like those big fat profoto things : P I'll do some testing and let you know what recycle time i get on my two Quadra packs set to SL1

I might have bought Profoto if I could have afforded it, but they're insane prices. And the lights still work, and work well in my preferred mode. Just dunno what's happening with them in slow mode.

It should take about four seconds - is taking about 14. Bizarre, as on rapid recycle it's taking the correct 2.x seconds.

Are you sure you haven't stolen my Boling setup, those recycle times are more it's style.
