Had another spell of sleepless nights so I figured I might as well do something to entertain myself. Setup was 1 430EXII in a PLM 64. Triggered with a miniTT1 and FlexTT5. PP was done in LR3.

Very James Bond... I like it!

Two Canon 430EX II strobes used. One is above and camera right using a shoot through umbrella and the other is a bare flash snooted behind the chair and camera left.

Time for the request to everyone again: please don't quote pics unless it's for a very specific reason.

I think it's worth pointing out that you can reduce the bandwidth wasted on quoted pictures by setting your "posts viewed per page" option higher. I have mine set to 50 posts per page. On any particular page, your browser will only download the image once no matter how often it's quoted.

That doesn't cure the problem of images taking up screen space, but at least you can browse quicker.

All I want is a 10-2000 f/0.5L with no distortion that weighs 100 grams, fits in my pocket, and costs $300. Is that too much to ask?

Yup, been at 50 posts/page forever - it just makes sense.

But it's the continual scrolling past stuff I've already seen that drives me nuts. (That, and it's in the forum rules that images shouldn't be quoted unnecessarily.)

Of course, posters make it difficult when they just lob an image up with no text.

cheers, juice (Canon shooter, Elinchrom lighter, but pretty much agnostic on brands.)

Anyone have experience with the PW FlexTT5-Canon. I'm really considering purchasing but I'm noticing some mixed reviews, especially using them with my 580ex II's. I've always had the impression that PW"S are the best going for ocf. I really want to take advantage of the ettl II compatibility.

thanks.

A couple from a fun shoot on Saturday.
Both shot using a 580exii with 1/4 cto, no modifiers due to strong afternoon sunlight.
Very little PP done to these. CC welcome

This picture is stunning, and so very different from a lot of the other posts (in a good way!) The mood is perfect for her expression. And beautiful model, too.

-LOVE IT!-
