Hello, I was wondering if anyone has some suggestions on memory cards. I'm looking for a minimum of 16gb. I use a t2i and will be shooting pictures at first, has a few events lined up and then practicing and building up my arsenal for video. So at the moment I have a SanDisk ULTA III 16g which cost me 80bucks, i speed is great! Im looking for something like that so about 8-15mbps but i also have a cheap 15 dollar 8gb pny that shoots videos fine. Im on the fence with these http://rover.ebay.com …Search%26LH_TitleDesc%3D1 (external link) a 32gb class 6 SDHC, maybe 2 of those eventually, or just going on amazing and choosing from there, throw out a suggestion. Thx Mike

for our 7Ds we are using Sandisk Extreme 16GB 60MB cards/ You should be able to find them for around $100 or less.

I use mainly 4 gb class 10 in my T2i I only very rarely use the video option but its nice to have that ability if the situation arises. I am buying a new home and shooting video to show family was nice and gave an idea of perspective. I used to buy 16 and 32 gb cards till someone asked how many images I was willing to lose if the card went south on me. since then 8 gb is the largest I acquire.

I have been using the Patriot Class 10 cards with no problems yet. 8 & 16 GB. I do wish I could afford the SanDisk but I just cannot.

Where can you get these cards for the SD format? The fastest I have is 30mb/s and it is the Sandisk Extreme. I know for CF format they are easy to find because I have that card but I would love to get a Sandisk SD card that fast.

Same here. Memory is cheap, compared to losing all your work.

I use a 32Gb Delkin (433x) and just recently bought a Transcend (600x), which are doing well so far. I've never had issues with CF cards, no matter how many times I've inserted them back into the camera. I only had an issue with one of the pins on a CF card reader. I've always had problems with an SD card, even if it was never removed from the device, which was a cell phone.

I'd get 2 x 16gb and get them from a retailer and not from ebay.

Regarding the "few&big vs many&small"-issue: There are several threads on the matter. Searching this subforum for "card" will probably have one of them in the first pages.
