That dude is good^.

Got chased by a 'local' just after this (skatepark is in a rougher part of town) :(
Luckily we got away intact.
There are a couple more on my Flickr if anyone is particularly interested, I don't have the heart to copy and paste 4 url's.

Anyone have their 1D insured? If so, how much did you insure it for? ...how did you go about estimating a value?

My insurance company wouldn't insure anything I didn't have a receipt for. I did have a receipt for my camera though as I got it from a retailer. I ended up not insuring a few $$$ lenses that I own because I had no documentation on them.

You can probably do some research on the typical going rates and they may accept that.. but don't take my word for it.

I have been working with State Farm today on getting coverage... They have told me that they will accept price estimations from an average of USED prices on Amazon or similar website. I plan on going in and getting everything in writing as well as going over everything very explicitly before giving them any of my money.

In email, agent quoted $30/year for $1700 worth of coverage ($100 deductable).

Yeah... it's only $30/year, but I don't want to pay it if they are going to require something I don't have/can't get in the event of a claim... (like original retail reciept).

I'm insured through State Farm. Basically, if the claim is under $1000 or $2000, they don't blink an eye. You should have no issues whatsoever. Also, pics of the items insured are always a good idea.

Your user name is hilarious.

As for the photo, I wish it weren't cut off at her wrist, and it may be a touch oversaturated.
