I don't like spiders very much, or to quote Moss from the IS crowd - "I don't trust anything with more than six eyes!" - but they can be quite photogenic :)

Funny thing about this quote is that technically, if I read right, the author would trust something with six eyes... ironically, spiders from the Sicariidae family (like the Sicarius and Loxosceles genera) are among the most feared spiders in the world and they have six eyes!;)

Didn't know that! I was under the impression that all the spider have 8 eyes :) Will have to lower the number to five, then :)

Great shot! It's a Yellow Sac Spider (Cheiracanthium), correct? I've got a few living on my back porch.

I was taking a shot of a huntsman spider once. It filled the entire frame. Well, when it went to move I was put back and let out a little scream. Okay a big scream. But I was alone and it was manly scream. :D

I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

Looks like a funnel web spider, Agelenidae.
