ok but is that bad or is it just as fast?? i dont know what hperthreading is... :(

Hyperthreading will get you about 30% more performance, so a quad-core non-HT processor will be faster than a dual-core HT processor with apps that can use both multiple cores and hyperthreading. In other words, you're better off getting the quad-core i5 ("400%") over the dual-core i5 ("260%") at the same clock speeds, regardless of HT use. Aperture uses hyperthreading but Photoshop CS5 only uses it for part of its functions.


"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
