Okay, I really have no idea if this photo works or not. I'm having a real hard time being objective. I know I wanted to do something with mirrors, executing the shot just turned out to be a whole lot harder than I thought it would be.

Please, feel free to just let fly.

That's pretty cool. You could flip the image horizontally and make all the words read correctly, but I don't know if that would add to take away from the shot.

Interesting shot. I'm not too keen on the huge OOF camera lens on the right - it grabs my attention over everything else - I'm not sure how you could avoid that given the difficulty of the shot. Perhaps experiment with the camera on a tripod instead?

Is there a reason for the purply color tone, or am I missing some crucial concept?

Good concept and execution. Nothing in particular I'd want changed, though having the one sharp eye partially covered by the lens is slightly frustrating :-). A variant might be to put a subject into the shot. Something slim and long so it doesn't dominate overly - like a long-stemmed flower in the middle. Then, it becomes about taking a shot of that rather than a strange self portrait...?

Cheers,
Tony

Didn't even think of the lettering on my shirt. Nice observation. Thanks!

I briefly toyed with the idea of trying to crop out the lens on the right...ultimately left it. Something I may revisit. And no, no reason in particular for the purply tone. I've just been on a split tone kick, lately...and the split tones are definitely more interesting than the original. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks Flo. :) I definitely had some fun in the first go around. I knew a dated 70s-style bathroom was good for something!

Interesting thought, definitely worth looking into. Thanks, Tony!
