Here we go https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=869226
Also compares the results to the 100-400mm L as a comparison base and if you go through the thread there is also a test done with a 300D to show that its not all just the magic of a 1D series camera body.
I've also been using this combo recently and I have to say that its a fantastic step up from the original lens and certainly gives you very usable photos

Tools of the trade: Canon 400D, Canon 7D, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS L M2, Sigma 120-300mm f2.8 OS, Canon MPE 65mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro, Tamron 24-70mm f2.4, Sigma 70mm f2.8 macro, Sigma 8-16mm f4.5-5.6, Raynox DCR 250, loads of teleconverters and a flashy thingy too

I took this pic the other night with no telescope, just the 70-200 f/2.8 IS II and the 2x II converter:

Don't have any examples online yet, but this combo works well on both my 7D and 5D II.

Fujifilm X-T3, 16mm f/1.4, 23mm f/1.4, 35mm f/1.4, 56mm f/1.2, 80mm f/2.8 OIS Macro, 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 OIS, 1.4x TC, Flashpoint R2 Strobes/Flashes
