For a typical Landscape i do not see the adavntage of the full frame since the depth of field factor is not an issue
(the one advantage i see is a bigger pixel=less noise)
with good UWA lens (i use a sharp copy of sig 10-20) you will get great result

I didn't realize you're not using the D700 any more? Were you not happy or what happened? Did I miss a thread about this? I thought you'd gone to the dark side completely and (most likely) wasn't coming back.

I did go, but the nikon tax broke my bank account so I'm back. The 24G specifically. Had I been able to get one instead of sitting with $2200 in my camera fund for ~2+ months it might not have bugged me quite so much....

Wow i just noticed that you switched back to canon as well. welcome back! I am curious as to why you chose the 7D as opposed to going back to a 5Dmkii?
