I'm curious to see what keyboards and mice you all are using. I have recently tried a couple of ergonomics keyboards and I cant stand them. Today I picked up the Logitech wired backlit keyboard but I have yet to try it out. I've been using Logitech's trackball as well. After several years of using it I can easily say its my favorite, though they really need a bluetooth version.

I've read a lot of that same comment on Amazon. As far as batteries go you are right. Unless its on an imac or a laptop I prefer keyboards wired. However, I think standard mice are better when wireless.

Mac Pro - Logitech diNovo Mac Edition Keyboard & Logitech MX Revolution Mouse
MBP - Apple Bluetooth Keyboard & Logitech VX Revolution Mouse
PC - Logitech Illuminated Keyboard & Logitech MX Revolution

Logitech is pretty much #1 in my book - but I've been through three Harmony remotes due to failing buttons. Durability wise, I wouldn't drop any of their equipment.

Get yourself a gaming keyboard, with backlights. Why? It'll last longer than your computer, even with spills and poor maintenance.

I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I have a logitech wired gaming mouse on each machine I use. I really don't like using other mice any more. This one just fits my hand well. I don't do wireless, they used to lag quite a bit, not sure if they still do though.

The Apple Magic Mouse is the best mouse I've ever used.

I use the Logitech Performance MX. I'd recommend it. Pretty pricy for a mouse though.

Logitech G9.

I've had it for about 6 years now and it still works perfectly.
The application detection and customizable buttons are very useful as well.

I just started using the Logitech Backlit keyboard. Its a great little keyboard. I'm working on my small home workstation so accessories have been a recent interest to me. I just ordered a loaded up Herman Miller Aeron for the home.
