With the new ADSL2+ router my speed just jumped up quite a bit compared to the old DLink 604T Gen 1... interesting... Now, if we only really had great internet connections...

Nothing fantastic but far better than what I was getting on the old gear.

I am strong in some parts, not so good in other! Have had a few goes in the past so doing some things a little different this time around. I do enjoy it, must be a work-a-holic deep down... funny though, laziest work-a-holic I have ever met LOL

Had the very great pleasure today of setting someone up with a new 5D and a 24-70, coming up from a 300D, using it almost entirely for people and the odd landscapes. A real similar move to the one I made a few years ago, and it was a genuine pleasure to talk someone through that kinda jump and explaining all the things I'd gained from what it can do and allowed me to change about photography.

Selling cameras for a living, basically sucks balls 99% of the time, but every now and then you get into the groove with someone and that reward of setting someone on their way is awesome. Reminds me taking pictures is cool when you see the inspiration and fire in someone else. 8)

And I'd say that person also saw the fire in you and went away feeling like he got good old fashioned genuine service (unless you initially tried to sell him a Sony ) LOL

I might 'sell things' for a living but I'm not without morals! Selling someone a Sony when there are perfectly good alternatives (Pentax, HP, Fisher and Paykell, Lomo or Pams) is just plain wrong.

Mark, think i'm going to order a hood for 100mm macro from you. I'm selling the lens on behalf of a friend and I advertised it with a hood, but he doesn't have one. I'll get you to ship it directly to the guy who bought the lens.

No worries, have plenty of stock
