JonK, any more pics/videos please!! Looks superb, something I'd like to do again one day is build a fast car.

Thanks! Its fun, but expensive. Between that and photography it gets intense. Here is some more media:

Yeah thats the part I most enjoy - there are some telltale signs that it's not conventional, but a lot of people look over it. I go to local hang outs and leave the hood down and no one thinks twice about it.

My Dad bought the 1965 Corvette I own now new in '65. After putting roughly 300k miles on it, it sat for 20 years while my brother and I were growing up and going through college. When he started restoring it, he was diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He and I got the car on the road again (it still needs a lot of work) about a year before he passed. Unfortunately, he was unable to drive it again, but I did take him for more than a couple of rides.

The car was built for cruising - 300hp 327ci V-8 with 3.08 rear end.

I sell high end cars for a living,so the list is long for me. The fastest is probably a very modified 2008 Ferrari Scagglietti 612 that was bumped up to just over 1000 hp. It was featured on the cover of Forenza and other Ferrari magazines. We sold him the car unmodified and he sent it to Italy for the upgrade. I have also driven a highly modified Viper that was over 1000 hp, not a Hennessy but another custom builder did that one. The fastest car that was not all modified up was a Mercedes
SL55, that car has about 735 hp supercharged V10 and weighs nothing. It is RIDICULOUS !!! So much power that with factory rims and suspension it is almost uncontrollable. Traction control off and it will break the tires loose at 55mph. I just traded for a 91 850i with the V12 engine.. That is a SWEEEEEET ride also, not as fast but very cool...

Are you sure you sell cars? :p

The SL55, came with a V8. No Mercedes evercame with a V10. And they also weigh 4400 lbs lol, which is not "nothing". Further its a 475 hp car, not 735.

A couple of years ago I was invited to attend a Mercedes Benz event at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet IL. We got to beat on the AMG line as well as their SLR's around a road course, and their SLK55AMG around an autocross course. Talk about a fun day. Although the SLR was fun I think I liked the SL65 AMG better. Anyways, here's a photo that they took of each of us in front of an SLR before the event

These are the fastest cars that I have driven aggressively on a track. Having managed GM and Import dealerships (MB, Audi, VW) in the past, I have driven many fast cars, however did not beat on the cars.

Have had many bikes as well, but this was my favorite despite it being my smallest (600cc). Quick in a straight line, but really shined on the roadcourse.
