It's extremely comfortable for long periods of time, you have no strain or stress on your back or shoulders. You can get it in the U.K., but from some people have said in the Cotton Carrier Thread, it's a **** getting it and there's taxes and surcharges.
It's definitely the one piece of gear everyone should try, straps are so silly that I can't understand why people still use them. No security, no stress relief, no stability. The Cotton Carrier keeps your gear secure, it keeps it safe, and it keeps it from bobbling around. You don't have to juggle gear to use it, and you can have both hands free to do pretty much anything you want. You can bike, ski, etc., and don't have to worry about your gear in the least. Can't do that with straps, no matter what kinds of straps you use.
