Good luck with the wedding, Jim! I'm missing the action this time. I'm tired just thinking about it.

Fun Rehearsal last night...here are a couple of samples made with my new Fisheye. The church is simply awesome! We are doing the ceremony at 2PM with naturnal light. I shot with the 15MM f/2.8 Fisheye, the 17-55MM f/2.8 EF-S IS, the 17-40MM f/4 EF L, and the 85MM f/1.2 EF L. I am getting more comfortable with lens swaps during the action. I am tossing the 50MM in the bag as well for today.

Leaving at 0930 to start the wedding "Getting Ready" phase and then on to the Wedding and Reception :)

Seems we're all working or are busy lately.

Jon, hope everything is dry and working in MD. We're getting more rain today. It's so wet now, I'm worried we're going to flood again.

How did your wedding work out, Jim?

Electricity's back for the moment; we seem to be having rain as well. At least so far it's a steady rain that's not accompanied by high winds.

VA forecast is for steady rain this morning and then really bad rain this afternoon. The drain in our walk up basement got clogged right after we cleaned it out, the leaves were really gathering quick. The basement got a little wet. I was glad we were home. Then yesterday, I noticed that the flowers and grass were very happy, but the soil had eroded badly in the garden and the mulch is the only thing holding some plants up. Looks like Monday is our big clean up day as the rain is going to be bad today.

Suzie,

It went very well :). I'm at breakfast now using my iPad. I'll post a shot or two this afternoon.

Nice, Jim. I just made a delicious dinner of Swiss cheese chicken, real mashed potatoes, brown gravy and brilliant mixed veggies. I'm stuffed. Yum. I haven't made this chicken in a month and my family ate in the dining room for the first time in a year or more! Very nice meal.

Great wedding yesterday. Lovely Bride and Groom. Started at 11AM and got home at 11PM. Got over 1200 photos. Here are a couple of samples. Both of these were with the 17-55MM f/2.8 EF-S IS and the 30D.

Here are a few of my favorites from a recent senior shoot. I have another one in just a couple hours! And more coming up within the next couple weeks - sorry I have been absent, just been way busy.

Love the shots, Jim, Jeff & Mo! Maureen, we were just there 2 weeks ago! Love the miniatures and the boys all loved the roller coasters.

Jim, nice shots. I'm glad you survived. 1200 shots is a lot to get through. Jeff, really great series. Love the PP.

Thanks, Mon and Suzie :)

Elaine and I just got back from Tau Tau's Chinese Restaurant...we had Hot & Sour Soup, Fried wontons, and shared an order of Combination Fried Rice. I'm taking a break today...I did about 30 edits for the Bride this morning so she could post them on Facebook before they leave for their honeymoon in the morning. She wanted to share with her friends and family who were unable to attend. Doug backed me up on this one...so all total we got about 3000 photos to wade through. Check out the "Man in Black" and the wedding kids...Doug took this yesterday :-)

Oh, you had Doug there! How fun! I'm so jealous. Even though I'm too busy to work this month, I still miss it. I may have an LDS wedding in December, but the B&G are very wealthy so they can afford a group of pros and pay them well. So, maybe, I'll just be a guest and watch the pros run around. I'd love to shoot it though. The couple is beautiful.
