I'd like to share with you guys some of my personal favorites from the first wedding I ever assisted. It was a couple of months ago, and it was such a great experience.

I like being the assistant. Being the primary always makes me crazy. You did well. I really like the colors and the nice selective focus.

For a first time you did a good job photographing that wedding, well done. Keep up the good work it is a long journey to success but will be worth it in the end.

During the reception I had a couple of speedlights off camera somewhere in the distance.

For this wedding my setup was:

20D and 40D
Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8
Canon 50mm f/1.4
Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM
Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L
580ex and 580exII

That setup has significantly changed since then :)
