Just curious as to how many of you play music during your shoots. I was thinking of hooking up a computer to a pair of speakers and asking the model what band they like and just putting Pandora on.

I have a special play list of upbeat and fun songs about photography - I've never had a model complain and most say they enjoy the music. Now, if I were shooting a more moody set of images, I'd use a different set of songs. Played at the right volume, it works well and doesn't interfere with commnunications. Mark

If they don't, I have a collection (my wife is also a dancer). 7D (gripped) | GoPro Hero HD | Canon 70-200mm f/4 L | Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 | 40mm f/2.8 | 85mm f/1.8 | 28mm f/1.8 | 3 * 600EX-RT - All gear

We have an iPod with lots and lots of music but always ask the models to bring their own. We can even plug in their iPhones and that way they can listen to their favorite music. This setup is not cheap but it does sound amazing and it's very portable. I highly recommend it. Twitter: @DeanCapture
