I've realized that I never use neither my 50mm 1.8 nor my 28-135mm lenses. Indoors I use 28mm 2.8 and outdoors I use my 85mm 1.8.

would I be foolish to sell them?

I'd keep the 28-135

Sell them and put it towards a telephoto like 55-250 or 70-200 f/4

good suggestion.

FYI... you can use your 85mm 1.8 indoors as well as outdoors. Great lens for indoor portraits.

I had a 55-250mm and sold it. I used it only a few times as well.

oh I do use it indoors on occasion, but it is just a tad long at times, hence the 28mm. I just find the focus on my 50mm a bit iffy at times.

maybe I should keep the 50mm tho, in case I want to ever sell my xti and upgrade - would help to sell it with a lens attached...

thanks for the replies!

It sounds like you shoot a bit like me. I ended up buying the Tamron 28-75 and have had it for years now, I love it.
