Can't believe it I just ordered the 70-200 2.8 II

Whoops just saw ur opinions a few posts back! Mine us near silent with the IS on. Perhaps it is normal as someone once asked me about the same noise coming from his copy as well.

It seems to be more related to when I lower the lens like tipping it downwards the IS seems very quiet

i was just fine with my non is 70-200 2.8 and still am amazed of what it can do, maybe in a couple years ill get this IS version

Hope you're liking that lens as much as I'm liking my MkI!
