....hey guys....hope you don't mind....but this was with the 1DS Mk1.....just not much action over on that thread....and I like to hang out with y'all over here anyway :D;)

Nice composition, George! ;)

Love the color pop on that one and goes to show that the MkI is still a viable camera in the right hands!

Cheers!

Here's a few recent shots I took with my grail camera and the B+W 110 ND 3.0 filter :D

Interesting compositions, cmoy!

I'm not sure if the weather and time of day were ideal for them as I'm tempted to know how these shots would look taken as evening shots.

Cheers!

Thanks Jeff,
Yeah...walking around Vegas even with a 17mm on a FF....it was challenging to get the perspective you'd sometimes want for a building....so I often just had to resort to doing crazy/funky stuff like that one. Was fun though. And yeah....I still like the old 1DS.....

I like that Jeff ! Looks like a much more peaceful walk than I was having up and down the strip of Vegas last week ! LOL

Thanks!

Though oddly enough on this particular walk in the woods I came upon a very young, polite man who initially was intrigued by my camera gear and the hobby in general and then proceeded to try to show me the ways of his religion and get me to convert to it!

I might have faired better in Vegas!

Cheers!

^^ Cool! I would love to explore some terrain like that. I can't tell if that is a huge mountain, or just a little hill. What sort of scale is that picture?

these really are sharp wide open. my 35L on 1Ds2 is kind of soft wide open, don't know it is because of camera orlens.
