Abozakaria2009, the image is spectacular. Love the PP, however I must mention CA in upper left quadrant.

Had the chance to photograph Lance Armstrong in Jasper while he was doing a ride to raise funds for breast cancer research. Weather was pretty crappy and rainy, with low light.
This photo was shot at 3200 ISO and PP in Aperture - which I am not very good at!

Well, I couldn't resist. I took advantage of the Canon loyalty program and my 7D should be arriving on Wednesday. Haven't told the wife yet - out of fear. You know the old expression "it's better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission". I am hoping she never finds out.

Anyway, could someone with 7D experience tell me, after looking at my sig, which lenses should stay off the 7D.

It goes good with this one I took with my 40D a year or so ago. I was taking a picture of sniper chewing on her toy and the 580EXII started flashing metering light and he ran into the frame just as I took the pic and this is the result.

Gotta sell some of these lenses!!

Your post might get lost.. But I caught it ;)

Love my 7D.. But combined with the 70-200 or the 400mm 2.8IS this thing was rockstar.. I personally don't own that glass, but I do have the 24-105 and love the robustness of the lens.

I am saving my pennies for the 70-200 (hrm, or the 70-300)... Who knows.. I had the 24-70 before the 24-105 and really didn't like that setup (size, weight and it just wasn't wide enough or had enough focal length).

If I had your setup... And depending what I was doing, but the 70-200 or the 100-400 would be on 80% of the time.

7D has a day on the race track (external link).
I tried the movie mode too, but I think the camera is an ergonomic disaster for that, unless you have advanced accessories. Didn't get any better than this (external link).

Nice plane photos NevadaJack. That 400mm f/4L must be seriously nice.

Were you using a tripod and ball head mount -- or (if you're crazy like me) were you hand-holding?
