I don't agree actually. 70-200 F/2.8 is the best for cars, but any lens is good if you use it properly...the plays a great role too.

depends on how you want your composition.. i use my 70-200 only to create shallow DOF with an interesting background on the car what I call "peek-a-boo" shots or those moving cars like racing and stuff, but my 10-22mm is my overall for cars, tons of different effects it can do. 70-200, 50mm, 24-70 pretty much takes same kind of images when it comes to cars only the 200mm will get the most of job on a race track

ISO 100 and f/11 are good values, and I vary the time value depending on circumstances. I try to avoid anything smaller than f/11 as it softens up some; the short focal length provides for good DOF anyway. This one has those numbers.

Try something fun, change your white balance to tungstun when shooting like this... takes a bunch of the yellow out (as a variation)

I bought this lens right before my trip to Sequoia National Park and I'm glad I did. This shot was taken on Generals Highway as my girlfriend held the camera out the window and clicked aimlessly. BTW the photo is straight from the camera, no post work

Nice pic.

LOL. Your girlfriend holding your camera out the window with a rock outcrop approaching. That's gotta be Love dude.
