What's your best NON L Lens??

I was always impressed with the 24-85 F/3.5-4.5 for what it costs. I believe it's the best sub $200 zoom you can get for a 1.6x body. USM, full time manual focusing, internal focusing, and really compact and lightweight.

The only complaint I really had with it was photos lacked contrast, but that was easily fixable in post.

Best ... TS-E 90/2.8 or 100/2.8 Macro
Most used ... 85/1.8

17-55 but i traded for a 24-105L so now my 85 f/1.8

my 15mm Fisheye is incredibly sharp, although it's not exactly cheap. but hey it's not a L!

Be glad you got one - I am - it's being discontinued now that Canon releases the much more expensive fisheye zoom.

If you mean CANON lenses. Then the 100 macro (classic) was very good.

The 17-55 2.8 EF-S was very good too.

My Nikkor 14-24mm G (on my 5D II) is my best non L lens.

But as far as Canon lenses go, the 50 1.4 and 35 f2.0 were both sharp and great value for money.

I vouch for the 17-55, although I understand why it isn't graded L!

50 1.4, great lens. Prob wouldnt ever get the L version

My EF 100 2.8 macro....wouldn't be without it! 50 1.4 is good too....it's my only other non L lens.

Another vote for the Sigma 50 1.4. It makes my 35L jealous....

Mine is my 85f1.8 by far.

The 100macro and 50/1.4 are both excellent lenses.
