Unfortunately I missed going to the third round this year, so I was even more determined to get to Round 4, even if it meant missing out on the final day of Targa West.

Some of you 'may' remember from last time that I borrowed a mates 70-200 f4L, giving me an idea if I wanted the 70-200 or 135L. Well I finally got a 135L and couldn't be happier (see pics 2 and 6).

Anyway, here is a select few from the day (more can be seen HERE (external link)).

Great shots! I'm definitely jealous of your panning skills.

I really like the composition number 7.

Unfortunately these were outside the fence in the normal spectator points, I had to use a chair most of the time to see over the fence. I managed to get a Media Pass for an event at the start of the year, but for the normal racing year they have too many photogs trying to get passes so they won't just hand them out to anyone anymore.

Which is a little annoying because shots like #3 & #7 would benefit hugely from a lower perspective.

Thanks, but I haven't actually done all that much to them. I used lightroom to fix up the exposure and temperature, added a little vignette, then sharpened on export. That's it :)
